PLURAL ISTANBUL // Matteo Locci (Rome) / Merve Yucel (Istanbul)
A brutal history of public space and planning towards the understatement of Istanbul's diversity. Confronted with the classical evolution of rational planning theories, ottoman cities development is seen as an alternative model based on the idea of transformation, openness, communal, non definition and crisis. The contemporary city is therefore portrayed and understood trough its past.
